The Year Ahead
Dear DGE,
Greetings.
What an exciting event it was – wasn’t it ? All the Governors Elect described their experience of meticulous inspirational and down-to-earth International Assembly as “out-of-this-world” . I am sure you too must have been charged by the recently concluded International Assembly.
Effervescently charged and itching to go forth, let me remind you that bubbly enthusiasm should not overflow to affect the present which belongs to the District Governor. Let the charged atmosphere you have been experiencing not give shocks to the present leadership. I am convinced that you would not appreciate any intrusions into your realm of office when you are the District Leader. I am aware that you will ensure a smooth year-end for the present leadership and I have full confidence in your wisdom and your actions.
I urge you to use the glow of your towering experience to spread light and cheer amongst your future team members and urge them to Make Dreams Real. You have a very talented and committed world leader in R I President Elect Rtn Dong Kurn Lee of Seoul, Korea, who depends on you to dare a dream and Make Dreams Real. He was an International Goodwill ambassador appointed by the President of Korea for eleven years and now he will be an ambassador of Peace and World Understanding to the world.
I am sure that you have planned early and planned well. Now is the time to set into motion those rituals that will convert plans into actions. If there is any way in which I can be of some help to you, I am just a phone call away.
