Greetings,
As
a very respected and honoured past Governor, you have won the hearts of many
Clubs in your District and they hold you in great esteem.
The
sun has not yet set on Polio and though the time has come to see the end of
Polio, we cannot afford to be complacent. We MUST ensure a totally Polio free
Many
Clubs in the districts are aware of the importance of routine Immunization,
which mop up a very sizable number of target groups. Many, however, do not know
that ROUTINE immunization of ALL children in the first year of their lives will
play a decisive roll in our fight against Polio.
I
request you very humbly; please use your good offices to propagate this message
to all the Clubs that hold great regards for you.
We
must use ALL our resources and you are a very valuable resource to Rotary.
Please ensure that clubs in your District are aware of this need.
This
will make a big difference.
