Hello ! Dear Governor,                                                                     13th July, 2007

Greetings,

I am sure, you will concur that Rotary’s greatest asset is not our Rotary Foundation, it is not any of the great humanitarian programmes in which we are involved , or for that matter , it is not confined to bricks and mortar of our beautiful edifice in Evanston: BUT it is much beyond …..

Undoubtedly, Rotary’s greatest tangible asset is the Membership of each of its Rotary Clubs situated in all the far flung corners of the planet earth. Without this wealth our programmes would have no meaning and our building would have no function. Our mission areas too must be having Membership Growth as a prime agenda item, so as to help Rotary march ahead as an effective force for World Understanding.

Our world leader Wilfrid Wilkinson has invited PDG Dr  Manoj Desai R I Dist: 3060 and PDG Sam Movva of R I Dist: 3020  to serve as a part of Zone V & VI, respectively as  Membership Co-coordinators .  In your endeavor to excel in this mission, during the year they will be at your beck and call. Working with you will be their great privilege and pleasure.

I will also be most delighted to know your concrete plans and programmes for achieving Membership Growth. On my part, I too will share my thoughts with you and put my suggestions before you. Let us keep in touch and update ourselves. I sincerely hope that your great efforts will see that in the year 2007-08, there will be some historical highlights of importance to the growth and development of Rotary in your District.

Nayantara joins me in wishing you all the very best.

With warm regards,

Affectionately yours in Rotary
