HEART TO HEART
Rotary
has made deep impression in its mission of alleviating Polio from this planet
earth thereby saving children from probable future miseries so as to provide
healthy and happy environment to the future generations.
We
have heard about Heart Ailments developed in stress born Adults but to our
great surprise and dismay, many new born children also suffer from Congenital
Heart Diseases, which in most of the cases are curable through Surgery.
But what concerns the most to these unfortunate families is the lack of
proper information and the cost of surgery involved, which is impossible for
them to meet. Poor children suffering with this disease may not survive
for long or do not lead healthy life.
We
are now proposing to extend necessary financial support and guidance to
these needy children up to the maximum age of 16 years through special
committee appointed for this purpose. We propose to take this as our Thrust
Area for next 2 years to provide required support to at least 1100 children, to
begin with.

may continue operating this program, if already undertaken in your district, in
the manner as decided by your district. However I would like to request
you to send us the detailed information and its success stories so that the
same can be shared and effectively implemented in the other districts as well.
So
let us share our knowledge, our resources and our concern directly coming
from your “Heart” to save a ‘Heart’ of a child giving him/her a new lease of
life.
